Meet Lauren Rivers, RYT 500

Lauren began her journey into yoga in 2005 as a mom of two toddlers. She happened to pick up a 15 minute DVD set and began her practice at home. Finding that she felt more peaceful, more grounded, and began to loose weight she continued to explore opportunities to take yoga classes in the community.

In 2017 she took a leap of faith when she signed up for a local yoga teacher training after her divorce. Since then she has persevered in her yoga journey as she has used yoga to recover from car accidents, surgeries, heal from childhood traumas, and find balance in managing the stressors of day to day life.

She has a small home studio where she hosts private lessons, streams online lessons, and is also a Reiki Master and Tarot Reader. She also hosts classes locally at Mystic Moon Wellness Center in Charlotte Hall.

She strives to create welcoming classes that cater to students' individual needs. Whether you are a beginner, intermediate, or advanced student you will enjoy her style of teaching.

Yes, there are beginner yoga classes, intermediate and advanced. Yoga is a class best suited for beginners to intermediate yoga students with the most detailed cuing in class. Vinyasa is best for intermediate to advanced students because it offers a faster paced class that flows.

The introductory month for $50 includes all Yoga, Vinyasa, and Meditation classes offered. There are 12 classes offered in a typical month.

Bring a yoga mat, water bottle, and wear comfortable clothing. Leggings, yoga pants, and a fitted top work best. If you are a virtual student, then you want to have your space set up prior to the start time of class.
